For this project, I directed, styled, photographed, and edited a promotional ad for Double the Journey’s "70 and Sunny" collection. The goal was to announce the date and time of our next drop while giving our audience a preview of what was coming — all while capturing the easy, vintage vibe of the pieces.

I was inspired by an old Sporty & Rich ad and decided to make something similar with my own spin. I planned a studio shoot with three models, styling their looks and guiding them through poses that showed off specific features of each item. I went with bright, soft lighting and minimal shadows to create a light and warm feel. One challenge was making sure the models didn’t look too stiff, so I had them move around a bit — that ended up bringing the shots to life. Some of my favorite moments were when their hair showed movement, adding to the candid, nostalgic vibe. I edited the photos with a grainy filter and warm tones to give everything that vintage, summery look.

The final ad went up on Instagram, where most of our audience follows us, and was also featured on our website to build hype for the launch. People loved the retro feel and commented on pieces they were excited to shop — it got great engagement and set the tone for the drop perfectly.
